Biography

Eleni Mereti was born and raised in Alexandroupolis and in 2010 she graduated with a very good grade from the Dental School of Thessaloniki.

She then returned to her hometown, where she worked as a volunteer at the Alexandroupolis Garrison Dental Clinic and then moved to Germany, where she worked as an orthodontic specialist in a large private clinic in the state of Rhineland-Westphalia. There she was trained in all the modern methods of correcting dental and skeletal anomalies by using innovative diagnostic tools for the time, such as the intraoral scanner and the 3D printer.

In 2017, by selection among many candidates, she was admitted to the Carl Gustav Carus University Clinic in Dresden, Germany, completing her Residency. At the University Clinic, the doctor treated a multitude of patients both children and adults with dental and skeletal malformations, cleft lip and palate, cases with combined orthognathic surgery, and cases with syndromes.

In 2018, after passing her exams, she was awarded the title of Specialist Dentist for Orthodontics (Fachzahnärztin für Kieferorthopädie). From 2018 to 2020 she worked as a Specialist at the eponymous University of Dresden, participating not only in clinical work, but also in the education of undergraduate students through seminars, lectures and practical courses she delivered. Since 2017 she has been a doctoral candidate at the Carl Gustav Carus University in Dresden, with contemporary participation in the research work of the Department of Orthodontics of the same university.

Since November 2020, the orthodontist maintains her private practice at 11 Mazaraki Street in the center of Alexandroupolis, where she provides specialized orthodontic services to children, adolescents and adults, always respecting the personal wishes and needs of each patient.
